Dr Shah completed his medical training in internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases at prestigious institutions such as Massachusetts General Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine.
A visionary in the field, he founded and nurtured a cutting-edge cardiovascular service line at the Portland Clinic. His contributions extended to Oregon Health and Science University, where he served on the faculty.
In a significant achievement, Dr Shah was sought out by the Mayo Clinic to establish the Aortic Disease program at Mayo Clinic Arizona and the Mayo Alix School of Medicine, where he built an internationally recognised centre of excellence.
Dr Shah, with 15 years as a cardiologist, has trusted Aktiia’s optical blood pressure monitor for two years in guiding his clinical decisions. Beyond that, he contributes to Aktiia as the Chief Medical Officer, applying his extensive expertise to ensure the product remains a leader in its class, trusted by both patients and professionals.
