At Aktiia, we strongly believe that science must remain the cornerstone of our technology. Inside our small device, and despite its apparent simplicity, the Aktiia R&D team has embedded more than 15 years of research efforts, clinical trials and countless tested, rejected, and verified hypotheses. As we have been doing for more than a decade, we are thrilled to expose our science to peers, to exchange ideas, and to be challenged. And what can be more challenging than defending the Aktiia research in front of the worldwide panel of cuffless blood pressure experts?
During the IEEE International Engineering in Medicine and Biology Conference (EMBC) in Berlin this July, we were excited to present during a special annual track on cuffless blood pressure technologies. This invite-only session gathers together the worldwide leading scientists that have been contributing to the advances in cuffless technology for years. This year, we presented our most recent findings and clinical data in front of a standing-room-only crowd of scientific and industrial experts. Aktiia’s results captured the audience and generated passionate debates and discussions.
We are engaged in helping patients and clinicians in the fight against hypertension and other cardiovascular illnesses. We are engaged in developing a great product. And across the board, we are engaged in building our technology on solid scientific principles and robust clinical evidence.
